Tracheophyta

Tracheophyta (also known as vascular plants or tracheophytes) is a large and diverse division of plants characterized by the presence of a specialized transport system called vascular tissue. This system, composed of xylem and phloem, allows for the efficient movement of water, minerals, and food throughout the plant body, enabling these plants to grow to larger sizes and colonize a wider range of terrestrial habitats compared to non-vascular plants (bryophytes).
